God does not always remove obstacles, but He gives us strength to face them. With each victorious encounter, faith will grow. I heard a taped message once by Corrie ten Boom in which she expressed it this way:

“Look outward and be distressed
Look inward and be depressed
Look upward and be at rest.”

Oswald Chambers wrote: “Am I waiting for God to increase my faith so that I’ll have the courage to obey, or am I asking God for the courage to obey so that He can increase my faith?”
